At the forefront of medical discovery as it relates to understanding the causes of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and dementia, Pennington Biomedical Research Center is a campus of Louisiana State University and conducts basic, clinical and population research. The Center includes Basic Science, Clinical Research, and Population and Public Health, enabling both focused research and translational science. Job Description:
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a part-time, temporary LPN 2 or 3 in the inpatient unit of the Clinical Trials Unit.
The LPN will provide direct patient care for volunteers in various clinical trials that require ambulatory and/or total bed rest in the inpatient unit. Additional responsibilities may include screenings, consenting, and study visits for specified clinical trials.

Minimum Qualifications
LPN 2
Possession of a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice practical nursing or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus one year of practical nursing experience.
LPN 3
Possession of a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit
