Logistics Team Lead

MISSION:

To ensure that associates have everything needed to perform all aspects of their jobs safely and properly.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Monitor work environment and employee actions to ensure safe working conditions.

•Ensure compliance with Corporate HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) objectives and     requirements.

•Monitor associates to ensure they are following current Work Instructions.

•Direct the support of logistics’ team needs for the warehouse as it relates to transportation services, needs in the shipping group, and receiving and storage needs to support production.

•Assist associates with issues that prevent them from performing their job properly.

•Report any safety or performance issues to Shift Manager.

 

 

COMPETENCIES:

•High school diploma or GED

•Computer literate

•Must have Manufacturing experience

•Previous experience with receiving and Storage and MRP usage

•Previous experience in shipments- Domestic (LTL, Parcels, TL, Expedited)

•Able to read, write, and perform basic math functions

•Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills

•Must be able to work any shift

•Must have the ability to lift/carry up to 40lbs without assistance
