Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics Operator – Material Handler to join our team at ONICON Incorporated. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the efficient and proper movement of materials from the warehouse to the production floor, supporting manufacturing operations. This role includes loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring the correct materials are delivered to their designated locations throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize shipment paperwork.
  • Assemble and package installation kits as ordered. 
  • Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, express receipts, etc.
  • Involves working within a shop environment.
  • Report any issues with orders to the customer service team.
  • Monitor quality issues and notify management.
  • Make sure all daily shipping needs are fulfilled.
  • All other related duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work within deadlines.
  • Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of Standard Operating Practices and work instructions with minimal guidance.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ensure orders and shipping quantities align with picking documents through thorough review.
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule the pick-up of goods.
  • Ensure shipments include the necessary international and domestic paperwork.

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Word Experience is preferred.
