DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Project Manager providing support to SBCT. This is a fulltime position based out of Joint-Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) in Tacoma, WA.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide Stryker FoV Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) technical expertise and perform tasks described within work instructions, manuals, and drawings to replace, troubleshoot, and repair simple electronic equipment and requisite software updates; and shall document readiness using common military test instruments issued to unit Soldiers.
Provide detailed information on performance of electronic equipment used on military platforms and make recommendations for application and usage.
Support the integration of electronic military communication devices and mission equipment in post-production platforms supporting fielding operations for Stryker brigades.
Support vehicle electronic military communication devices and mission equipment maintenance & sustainment strategies for repair cycle float fleet and operational readiness fleet supporting HQDA Stryker Brigade Combat Team Modernization and National Military strategies.
Participate in weekly scheduled meetings with PMO-SBCT to discuss actions, fielding requirements, and provide brigade status reports as assigned.
OCONUS travel may be required to support fielding missions.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in a professional discipline from an accredited educational program plus 8 years of experience in a DoD setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
