Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service-related functions
• Actively manage all aspects of international accounts, overseeing both import and export activities
• Manage and negotiate with vendors and freight providers using strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
• Actively manage and train a team of 4-6
• Direct and optimize customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
• Create and manage departmental budget

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, international program, or equivalent qualifying experience in the logistics industry
• At least 5 years shipping/operations experience including knowledge of export/import documentation, regulation, and negotiation
• At least 3 years of experience managing and leading a team
• Previous experience using an ERP, SAP preferred 
• Operational knowledge and certification of DOT regulations. IATA, IMDG, HAZMAT, TSA Security, and customs regulation knowledge a plus
