Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
Key tasks and skills of the job:
• Maintain safe working practices supporting the company’s standards i.e. 5S +1 initiative.
• Ensure that proper counting procedures are followed by counting team
• Maintain daily counter workload and assignments
• Lead root cause investigations for material inventory discrepancies
• Follow Company processes on the relevant system to ensure system accuracy and integrity of items picked and delivered.
• Ensure timely picking of materials and good housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Use material handlers, powered industrial trucks, and hand jacks for material movement.
• File and process paperwork within the area in line with system requirements.
• Have involvement with Stock taking
This position will be from Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm on site.
What your background should look like:
Qualifications & specialist training required:
• H.S degree or GED equivalent
• Site computer system - training provided.
• Manual Handling.
• Accuracy
Experience required:
• Have experience in working within a warehouse environment. (Preferred).
Particular skill / aptitude required:
• Organized methodical work ethic.
• Follow processes.
• Question when exceptions occur.
• Good team worker / member.
• Flexible approach to work

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $35,360 – $53,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
