Who You Are:As Logistics Director, you're a results-driven leader who understands that efficient shipping is paramount. You're passionate about delivering premium beverages to our partners while optimizing costs and maintaining timely delivery schedules. Your strategic approach to freight and logistics directly impacts our profitability and enables continued company growth.
In This Role You Will:●    Drive strategic partnerships with freight brokers through regular performance reviews and contract negotiations: monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews●    Optimize freight spend through dynamic market analysis and strategic decisions between contract and spot market opportunities●    Maintain competitive advantage through regular market rate analysis and vendor evaluations●    Oversee end-to-end shipping operations including finished goods distribution from HQ to distributors, Warehouse transfers of finished goods, Co-manufacturer shipment coordination, and Raw materials logistics for HQ, co-manufacturers, and 3PL networks●    Partner with the Demand Planner to optimize distributor and 3PL inventory levels and execute effective Sales and Operations Planning●    Collaborate with the Finance Team on freight invoice management and bill backs●    Manage product creation workflows and VIP system setups●    Oversee distribution invoice and credit memo processing●    Ensure seamless EKOS integration for all shipments●    Work cross-functionally with the president and VP of Operations on shipment optimization, the VP of Operations on production facility strategy, and the President on warehouse network planning●    Deliver critical reporting including monthly TTB and Avalara wholesale reports, monthly freight tracking analysis, and custom analytics for executive leadership as needed
Must Have's: 
●    Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application●    4-5 years experience in freight and logistics, beverage experience preferable, DTC operations management preferable●    Must live in Southern California, San Diego preferred ●    Proven experience with demand planning, inventory management, and working with 3PL providers●    Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience using inventory management software●    Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully implementing process improvements.●    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.●    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead cross-functional teams ●    Desire to work in a fast-paced, fast-growth company
Compensation: ·      Full-Time, Salaried Exempt·      The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00
