Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is hiring a Logistics Assistant.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Safely and efficiently performs assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.
• Support the management of warehouse and distribute stock in the different sections of the business.
• Assist with pickups occasionally using company vehicle.
• Operate forklift in a small warehouse setting.
• Assist the shipping and delivery section of the business with different tasks as needed, such as receiving, shipping, labeling, finding, and splitting samples.
• Assist with assembling kits for clients.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, quality personnel, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
• Successfully conducts and completes all assigned trainings.
• Participates in continuous improvement training and trains others.
• Maintain all stocking areas clean and organized.

Role is Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with overtime or work weekends if needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Ability to squat and lift and move around packages of up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift operation.
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills, computer literacy.
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English, orally and to work in teams.
• Driver's license.
• Can adhere to safety protocols and work during emergency response situations.
• Ability to move around and stand and sit for long periods of time.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. 
• A clean criminal and driving record. 

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $15.00 - $17.00 an hour.  

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base pay rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
