Where you come in:
- Responsibilities include facilitating transportation, analyzing, and recommending transportation solutions, network modeling, continuous improvement activities, and network optimization strategies.
- Provide support for load planning and scheduling, both DC and manufacturing with focus on DC, including activities such as adjusting lane requirements, carrier profile properties, customer carrier pickups, etc.
- Leverage and optimize carrier resources to meet requirements with accountability to on-time service, and freight cost.
- Building and nurturing positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, including supporting initiatives and strategies for Interplant Replenishment as well as inbound supplier, sterilizer, and manufacturing shipments.
- Represent Transportation in Supply Chain explaining transportation issues, vendor problems, and working out joint supply chain solutions.
- Identifying and assessing risks across the transportation network in order to develop contingency plans for all associated risks to ensure risk mitigation.
- Monitor KPI's for each mode of transportation; coordinating with management on under-performing carrier and their corrective action programs to return to Service Level Agreement Performance standard.
- Maintain all measurements related to each project, supporting departmental goals, planning, and setting goals, and review to ensure goals are being met.
- Liaison - Liaise with TMS provider.
- Quality – Temp Monitoring & Forecasting / TIVE Unit support.
- Direct ops teams on proper mode.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
What makes you successful:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study with relevant experience preferred.
- At least 5 years' experience working within supply chain, logistics, or related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Application, Power BI, Tableau, ERP system (Oracle)
- Familiar with statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques.
- Good understanding of supply chain & operational process and requirements and bring excellent communication skills to present finding and insights to non-technical stakeholders

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
