About the role
Tapas Entertainment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Localization Intern to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our webcomic series meet our content guidelines, assisting with project coordination, and helping with communication and information-sharing across teams. As an ideal candidate, you're an avid reader of Tapas content, have a passion for webcomics, and possess strong organizational and writing skills (mastery in English).
*This is a 6-month paid internship that begins in the Fall of 2023.*

Responsibilities:
- Review webcomic series to ensure they comply with our content guidelines and add appropriate keyword tags
- Edit and organize documents, including updating guides, proofreading changes, and creating presentation slides
- Assist the Content Operations department with various duties related to project coordination, communication and information-sharing across teams
- Upload series to our content management system and perform file-checking
- Write short-form content, such as briefs and blurbs
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited program or recent graduate
- Passionate about webcomics, particularly Korean and Chinese webcomics
- Strong writing skills and excellent command of English grammar
- Highly organized with experience using Google Sheets and project management software
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Dropbox
- Bilingual in Korean (preferred)
- Able to work remotely for 25-30 hours per week
