We are currently seeking a dedicated Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver at Central Transport, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of freight within regional lanes.

Central Transport is currently seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our location in Norfolk, VA . If you are looking to join a company that offers consistent routes while operating modern equipment, and being home every night, this is the opportunity for you. This position involes making around 10-15 stopos within a 50 mile radius of the termnial. At the end of the day, there will be loading andunloading wokr using a forklift.

Competitive Compensation: $28.50 per hour

Qualifications:

• Willingness to obtain Hazmat & Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• 3 months of recent tractor trailer experience
• Stable consistent work history
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass drug/background screen
• DOT physical examination provided
• No DUI's or major accidents in the last five years including a rollover, jacknife, or hitting a low bridge
• No failed or refused DOT Drug Screens
