From receiving and inspecting deliveries to maintaining accurate inventory, organizing shipments, and ensuring proper food storage and sanitation, you’ll help support our culinary team and the broader community. Evening and weekend availability is required.</strong></p> <h4>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</h4> <ul> <li>Receives and inspects incoming deliveries and stores all product by following HACCP procedures while working to meet the Vision and Core Values of The Mather with enthusiasm and a spirit of cooperation &amp; teamwork.</li> <li>Maintains appropriate paperwork as required.</li> <li>Load and/or unload packages from a variety of vendors delivering to the Experience Centers and resident apartments.</li> <li>Follows processes to receive, unpack and sort incoming products in the designated area.</li> <li>Consults management with quality and quantity concerns and assists with inventory.</li> <li>Inputs all invoices into food and beverage inventory/invoice program.</li> <li>Retrieving resident packages/furniture/equipment and preparing packaging and shipping information for the residents.</li> <li>Stores food product in designated locations ensuring proper temperature controls and proper stock rotation through first in/first-out method.&nbsp;</li> <li>Works on loading docks under a variety of environmental conditions, and under a variety of temperature conditions (e.g., kitchens, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, etc.)</li> <li>Maintains the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the loading dock, refrigerators, freezers and all storage locations. Ensures that they are kept in a safe and sanitary condition at all times.&nbsp; Reports any safety or sanitation concerns to management.</li> <li>Regularly cleans equipment. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping power-washing of loading dock, and weekly deep cleaning.</li> <li>Assists with equipment assembly and installation as needed.</li> <li>Observes all VA State Health codes and Regulations including proper hand washing and use of gloves.</li> <li>Accurately completes temperature logs and foodservice records. &nbsp;Immediately informs Chef, in writing, when corrective action is needed.</li> <li
