ABOUT THE TEAM:


Anduril's Endpoint Engineering team is seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer with a strong focus on Linux systems to join our Endpoint Engineering team. This role will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of Linux endpoints while contributing to the overall endpoint strategy across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient endpoint operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to align endpoint strategy with business goals.
  • Build processes for imaging and deploying employee and manufacturing systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Linux endpoint configurations and standards.
  • Manage Linux endpoint lifecycle: deployment, patching, updates, and decommissioning.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for Linux endpoint management (Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell preferred).
  • Implement endpoint security best practices, including hardening, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Administer and support MDM platforms such as Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro.
  • Utilize PXE and deployment technologies (MAAS, FOG, Tinkerbell, iPXE) for provisioning workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Linux endpoint issues in collaboration with support teams.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience managing Linux systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Ubuntu Desktop, NixOS, RHEL)
  • Solid Bash scripting foundation and proficiency in at least one additional language (Python preferred; Go or PowerShell a plus)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef) and automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with PXE and deployment technologies (MAAS, FOG, Tinkerbell, iPXE).
  • Understanding of Linux security hardening and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation on Linux systems.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro, SCCM).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Broad operating system knowledge, including:
    • Windows management
    • macOS management
    • Mobile device management (iOS, iPadOS, Android)
    • NixOS experience.
  • Experience in non-Active Directory environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting Linux as a primary desktop OS in enterprise settings.
  • Experience integrating Linux endpoints with MDM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro).
US Salary Range$129,000$171,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
