We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in one of our Miami Beach Hotel Group restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to menu planning and fine dining experiences.

PAY: $18.00HR 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
• Support catering events by preparing specialized menu items as required.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and service techniques.
• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities within a kitchen setting is a plus.
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and management.
