Line Cook

• Comply with proper safety & sanitation regulations and practices
• Set up, stock & maintain workstations
• Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned
• Prepare dishes on menu using proven recipes
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor product freshness
• Ensure top quality food orders in a timely manner
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
• Maintain personal appearance and hygiene

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Able to stand for long periods of time in hot kitchen environment
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Food handler certificate
