What You’ll Do

As a LIMS Project Manager at Clarkston, you will:

• Create and manage project plans and timelines, define project deliverables, assign project team roles and resources, identify and track issues and their resolution, and manage project scope, creep, and requirements.
• Responsible to ensure the configuration of LIMS aligns with technical and functional specifications.
• Manage a project in accordance with validation of computer systems for use in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment and creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work closely with clients at all different levels to develop creative solutions
• Apply strong knowledge of the Life Sciences industry for implementing software systems, such as Labware LIMS that support the laboratory environment by improving efficiency and promoting collaboration.
• Assist in blueprinting and design sessions to gather functional requirements for LIMS implementations
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Provide leadership to junior systems analysts and client personnel assigned to projects
• Focus on business process re-engineering efforts and FDA compliance
• Earn trusted client status and develop relationships that extend beyond the project’s lifecycle

Travel Requirement

Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all non-essential travel has been limited and any on-site requests are subject to review. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for versatile leaders and innovators with a minimum of 5 years of prior LIMS/Quality Systems experience who want to work on diverse and challenging projects to deliver true value to our life sciences clients.

An ideal candidate as LIMS Project Manager would have gained experience in the following:

• Two years relevant professional consulting experience in the Life Sciences industry
• Strong Knowledge of laboratory technology Systems Development Life Cycle, application development, or systems integration with 3+ years of experience in a regulated lab environment
• Background in Quality Assurance, LIMS or proven business acumen for working in a heavily regulated, compliant environment preferred
• Minimum degree required: Bachelor's from an accredited college or university
