Job Title:  Finance Administrative Associate

 

Job Summary:
This position is located at the Milliken & Company Limestone Plant in Gaffney, SC. The position provides administrative support for the following areas: costing, payroll, purchasing, accounting, and inventory control. The position reports to the Plant Finance Leader.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Code, input, audit, and track payroll time and attendance
  • Organization and monitor supply usage
  • Prepare weekly cost analysis and ad hoc reports
  • Conducts cycle counts and variance analysis
  • Conduct analysis of expenses
  • Research supply availability, pricing, and lead times
  • Maintain supplies for both indirect and direct materials
  • Prepare requisitions and place orders with vendors
  • Research and reconcile purchase order receipts with vendor invoices
  • Support the controller with managing ledger accounts and expense coding
  • Track material usage and waste
  • Communicate with corporate accounting utilizing workflow system
  • Prepare freight invoices and administrative pay requests
  • Support administrative needs in the office
  • Identify ways to improve relevant financial processes

 

Qualifications - Required:

  • Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP (emphasis on Finance)
