Job Description

General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:

  • Processes tax credit applications and maintains accurate resident files.
  • Works closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager.
  • Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
  • Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
  • Assists applicants with the qualification process
  • Creates and updates the wait list constantly.
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager.
  • Assists residents with work orders or any other issues in a prompt manner.
  • Completes move-in walk through with new residents.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of consecutive multifamily property management experience - Preferred
  • 1+ years of Oregon affordable apartment experience - Preferred
  • Spanish bi-lingual ability - Preferred
  • Knowledge of Property Management software - preferably Yardi - Preferred
  • Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs in Oregon.
  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws 
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skill.  Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse resident population.  

Additional Information

Property: Orchard Park Apts. (224 units)

Pay: $22.00-24.00 Hourly

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
