About the Role

The HR Coordinator role involves organizing and facilitating new hire orientations, coordinating training activities that include scheduling, catering, and maintaining participant lists and records, managing Jira tickets for facilities, responding to department inbox and overseeing the Workday Learning HR system for training records. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will participate in culture planning activities, manage various projects, and ensure effective communication. Candidates must be able to quickly pick up tasks with high accuracy and possess strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update team member records in HR Systems.
  • Handle confidential team member information with a high level of discretion.
  • Support in the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with company and legal
  • regulations.
  • Managing the Learning and Development ticketing system and inbox, responding to inquiries with a problem-solving mindset,
  • seeking answers independently before escalating.
  • Manage and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and orientation.
  • Take ownership of projects, process improvement initiatives, and coordination of activities, including
  • scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing logistics.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a proactive approach by asking questions to understand processes, tools, and
  • content.
  • Proactively collaborate with senior team members and HR to provide comprehensive support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically, 2+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while handling team member-related data and information.
  • Ability to pick up tasks quickly and work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as provide support to other teams within Human Resources.
  • Must have experience in the independent use of one of the following: HR Information Systems, LMS, collaboration tools, assessment and evaluation tools.
  • Requires a high level of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity to help find solutions to complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Facilitation skills, ability to effectively lead and manage New Hire’s through first day Orientation.
  • Advanced experience with HR software and systems such as Workday and JIRA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and administration skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills are critical.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in automating processes and workflows using technical solutions.
