About the role

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of completion tools and associated equipment.
  • Provide mentorship, daily guidance, training, and performance feedback to assembly shop employees.
  • Oversee project scopes and requirements, attending kick-off and review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and HSE regulations.
  • Manage inspections, investigations, and corrective actions while maintaining documentation.
  • Support preventative and corrective maintenance programs for workshop equipment.

Job Duties

  • Independently manage complex technical projects requiring sound judgment and problem-solving.
  • Identify and resolve work-related issues while recommending methods to improve quality and productivity.
  • Conduct regular shop inspections and participate in incident investigations.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with internal and external resources (mechanical, electrical, equipment).
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, investigations, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support operational objectives.

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in completion tool assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and related mechanical work.
  • Demonstrated ability to disassemble/reassemble, pressure test, and maintain completion equipment.
  • Strong leadership, conflict management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to work in shop, warehouse, and indoor/outdoor environments with varying conditions.
  • Must meet physical requirements (lifting, squatting, bending, climbing, etc.) and wear all required PPE.
