Lead VoIP Enginee (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

Responsible for leading a team of DevOps engineers supporting corporate data warehouse, data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:

Development of interconnection configuration including: Completing interconnection configuration and testing tasks in support of RC developing unique features in UCaaS technology with carrier partners worldwide.

Developing and testing automation technology to support RingCentral’s systems and networks.

Fully understanding the international telecom standards, interconnection negotiation with carrier partners worldwide. 

Designing the special configuration to match the variant setting of the different carrier partners.

Designing and implementing automation technologies for our internal system.

Liaising with the internal team to assign the telephone numbers into the testing account.

Designing test plans and procedures.

Designing system deployment process for global network systems.

Completing all the call flow configuration and making necessary changes.

Completing the unique configuration to match UCaaS services.

Completing configuration updates of the company's internal network for inter-connect carriers.

Completing interconnection testing with internal sandbox, UAT, production systems and carriers.

Maintenance and monitoring of Internal network to develop the 99.999% reliability.

Designing and updating the specific configuration matching the carriers, and turning on the interconnection trunks.

Working with Vendor to update and test the specific configuration.

Implementation and testing new firmware, provide feedback to the vendors.

Desired Qualifications:

US Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, and four (4) years of related experience.

Experience with troubleshooting, telecommunications networks, VoIP, Ribbon EMS, Ribbon SBC, Ribbon PSX, Ribbon Networks platform, SIP, RTP, RTCP, parsing call records, sip traces, Netscore, MOS Score, Jitter, and Delay is required.
