🚛 Job Summary:

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), your local Thermo King dealer, is looking for an experienced Lead Trailer Technician to join our team in De Pere, WI! In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing trailer repairs and maintenance, overseeing shop operations, training technicians, and ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient workflows.

🎯 Job Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent


Valid driver’s license


Obtain a toolbox and the required tools


Proven experience in trailer repair and shop supervision


Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally


Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather condidtions


Strong welding and fabrication skills (steel and aluminum)


Familiarity with ABS, electrical systems, and DOT/FHWA inspections


Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn






🛠️ Responsibilities



Perform trailer inspections, maintenance, and repairs (brakes, tires, electrical, ABS, welding, etc.)


Supervise and assign work to trailer technicians


Ensure high quality standards and efficiency are met in shop operations


Provide training and mentorship to new and current technicians


Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard


Communicate effectively with team members across shifts


Complete repair orders and verify technician time and parts


Perform road service and occasional vehicle repairs


Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed


Additional duties as assigned
