Kids N Fitness of Decatur is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support the following age groups:

Two-year-old's

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA or at least 6 ECE college credits, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous classroom experience! 

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:15pm

Compensation: $17-$19/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. 
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently. 
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
