What You'll DoWe are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Come join our diverse and growing team with lots of opportunities! The selected candidate will provide System Engineering Leadership to an existing team that provides full life cycle support to the Human Resource Applications and Services organization. These applications are vital to the Government enterprise. The candidate must be a strong systems engineer with project leadership experience that is comfortable leading a team of senior & junior developers and help desk for operational systems. The individual will collaborate closely with the leadership currently in place to transition activities. This individual must be willing to tackle challenges and be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.  Primary responsibilities will be acting as the direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitating agile processes, communicating with team members, the Government and end user customers.  The individual will need to work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.

Required Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline is required
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a team lead role of diverse skillsets and experience levels
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.
• Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
• Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing Jira

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph RequiredU.S. Citizenship Required
