Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing phases of the software development life cycle. You will be participating as a team member on various engineering projects and may lead small projects.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent years of relevant, professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience writing backend code in Java

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience developing web applications and services
• Ability to work in an Agile environment

What will you be doing in this role?

• Implementing Java-based web services based on the needs of client applications.
• Responding to inquiries regarding the function and design of our services and attend scrum team meetings.
• Suggest alternative methodologies or techniques to achieving desired results.
• Document our services for other developers that use them and provide technical training to other team members
• Review and revise new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high-quality software.

Hours of Work

• Full time, permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
