Evident ID is hiring a Lead Software Engineer. We are looking for a person located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for a team developing SaaS software
• Design and implement highly scalable and flexible microservices
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, including progress tracking
• Collaborating with other team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and challenges that arise during the development process
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, tooling enhancements, and skill development within the team
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks that could impact project delivery or product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in Scala programming language
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of best coding practices, testability of the code and applying them
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, and guide team members towards common goals
• This includes skills in communication, decision-making, and delegation
• Technology agnostic mindset when solving problems
• Experience with developing cloud native applications
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines, and remain flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
