Here’s a quick overview of what you will be doing:

Lead Software Engineer

We’re growing fast and are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help scale our platform, mentor a growing engineering team, and help drive innovation in logistics and AI/ML-powered automation.

 What You’ll Do

• Own architecture and development for high-impact parts of the platform — including APIs, workflows, and internal tools.
• Lead feature delivery from start to finish — scoping, implementation, review, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data to bring ideas to life.
• Mentor other engineers, set technical standards, and drive engineering best practices.
• Work on applied AI/ML features like intelligent provider selection, refund automation, and order prediction.
• Help shape Burq’s technical roadmap and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong skills in backend systems (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar), API design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building and scaling production-grade web applications or platforms.
• Exposure to applied AI/ML in product environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with fast-paced, agile, and startup-style environments.
