Built on open-source innovations and fueled by industry leading agentic AI technology, Corelight helps teams to detect advanced threats and close cases with unprecedented clarity and precision.</p></div><p>As a Lead Software Engineer on our Fleet team, you'll set the technical direction for the frontend that security teams rely on to operate fleets of Corelight sensors — sometimes hundreds at a time — and act on the configuration, lifecycle, and operational data those fleets produce. You'll bridge sophisticated APIs and the intuitive interfaces our customers depend on — partnering closely with our Lead Backend Engineer and a dedicated UX designer to shape an experience that lets defenders move with speed and precision. This is a role for a high-agency engineer who owns outcomes end-to-end: technical direction, frontend architecture, craft, and the user experience itself.</p> <h3><strong>Specific Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Drive End-to-End Frontend Architecture:</strong> Lead the technical design, implementation, and operation of the Fleet Manager UI—owning state management, data layers, module boundaries, performance tuning, and the long-term technical roadmap.</li> <li><strong>Co-own the User Experience:</strong> Partner closely with a dedicated UX designer to define interaction patterns, refine complex data workflows, and make thoughtful product/UX trade-offs.
