Responsibilities and Impact:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using the React Native framework. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 
• Work with outside data sources and APIs. 
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. 
• Work on fixing bugs and improving application performance. 
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 
• Ensure the application has the best performance, quality, and responsiveness. 
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to React Native development. 

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,700 to $170,400.  Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent related experience

• Proven work experience as a React Native Developer. 
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. 
• Experience with the React Native framework and its core principles. 
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux). 
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio. 
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and JSON. 
• Experience with Git, continuous integration, and agile development methodologies. 
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience developing Mobile applications. 
• Familiarity with Swift/Kotlin is a plus.
• Experience working on Agile based development teams.
