Job Description
We are currently seeking an hourly Safety Supervisor for Aramark supporting Sports and Entertainment district operations located in Denver. The hourly Safety Supervisor will support the District Safety Manager with the implementation of safety and risk control programs, processes, and procedures to protect people, property, environment, and company assets.
This position will function as a support person for the District Safety Manager to enhance safety and risk process improvements throughout the many Sports & Entertainment venues overseen in Denver. This role will assist and correct operational misses as they relate to occupational safety, food safety & sanitation, compliance, and support execution of all Aramark safety process & procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with, Aramark District Safety Manager to review, implement and enforce Aramark's SAFE Commitment and SAFE management system.
- Verify the implementation and execution of Aramark safety standards and all relevant food safety standards and codes.
- Monitor all employees in the workplace and ensure they maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
- Ensure all staff know how and when to manage records.
- Assist supported locations to effectively ensure all food handling tasks are properly and safety carried out.
- Complete and document regular checks and inspections to ensure goals of District Safety Manager and Aramark are being met.
- Handle any issues of noncompliance when they arise.
- Assure high levels of Guest Service and Quality Control for all supported events.
- Assist in the distribution and replenishment of safety kits and personal protective equipment, PPE.
- Assist with the printing, lamination and hanging of visual aids throughout the district.
- Act as liaison between front-line staff and district safety manager to ensure compliance with regulatory issues.
- Monitoring the storage conditions of perishable food items to ensure that they do not spoil prematurely or welcome contamination.
- Support District Safety Manager in new hire and re-hire safety training, as needed.
- Must be willing to work an event-based schedule consisting of nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- This position is an extremely active role requiring movement around large stadiums, arenas, or convention centers for the duration of the scheduled events.

Qualifications
- Candidate must be willing to work event-based hours - including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- MUST have personal means of transportation and be willing to support sports & entertainment venues across the Denver-metro area.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- High School Diploma.
- 1 to 4 years professional experience in food safety required.
- Knowledgeable in quality and food safety regulations
- An understanding of food safety best practices (FDA Food Code) and Department of Health and local food safety regulations is recommended.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and some knowledge of other computer software.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in providing coaching to hourly employees.
- Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Compensation Data
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
