Provides clinical services as Privileged by the Denver Health Medical Staff office, including individual and family psychotherapy, standardized psychological testing, and case coordination and case management. Functions as a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary team and provides clinical leadership for other staff members. Participates as a member of the Division of Psychology in supervision and teaching for the doctoral internship and provides supervision to psychology trainees, as needed. Under general supervision of the Chief Psychologist the lead provides basic on-the-job training of assigned duties and assists management with the day-to-day administrative activities. These duties may include input regarding corrective action and performance appraisals. The Lead assists in the effective management of all clinical caseloads and audits clinical documentation. The Lead will support data tracking initiatives along with the development and sustainability of department standard of work. The Lead also assists the Chief Psychologist in promoting and implementing department priorities including quality, safety, and financial metrics.

This program is sponsored through the ACCESS (Advancing Careers, Competencies, and Equity in Substance Treatment Services) grant. Employees must be >0.6 FTE to be eligible. 50% of the bonus will be received 90 days after signing the program contract. Essential Functions:
- Provide high quality psychological clinical services to individuals and families as assigned. (10%)
- Provide services that are appropriate to the age and developmental level of the patient. (5%)
- Provide group psychotherapy to address general clinical needs and to assist in maintaining the therapeutic milieu. (5%)
- Generate documentation of psychotherapeutic services in the medical record in a timely fashion. (5%)
- Provide behavioral health assessment to individuals which may include cognitive, achievement, and personality testing. (5%)
- Write professional psychological reports in a timely fashion. (5%)
- Direct regular meetings of the multidisciplinary team. (5%)
- Assist in developing behavior management plans on patients. (5%)
- Supervise psychology practicum students, psychology doctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows in collaboration with the Chief Psychologist and with other members of the Division of Psychology. (5%)
- Actively participate in faculty and leadership meetings. (5%)
- Collect information and provide input for annual performance reviews. (5%)
- Provides input for corrective actions. (5%)
- Align team members with strategic initiatives of Denver Health through Visual Management and data tracking. (5%)
- Monitor caseload distribution and effective management of active patients. (5%)
- Develop and sustain standard work. (5%)
- Support audit of clinical documentation. (5%)
- Participate in teaching as part of the training faculty of the Division of Psychology. (5%)
- Participate and/or support academic efforts in research and in professional writing. (5%)

Education:
- Doctorate Degree in psychology from an accredited school Required
Work Experience:
- 4-6 years Five years post-doctoral experience. Required
Licenses:
- PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge and skills in psychodiagnostics and in conducting evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention with individuals throughout the life span.
- Has knowledge and experience needed to conduct supervision with advanced psychology trainees and lice
