Reporting to the Studio GM, the Lead Product Manager will be a key member of our new game’s leadership team. They will work to define requirements for all of the game’s major systems, balance efficiency with ambition to keep the game on track against an aggressive development schedule, and will collaborate with other discipline leaders to create a player experience that engages players for the long-term while also delivering against ambitious business goals.
The ideal candidate is passionate about games, a strategic thinker, can approach their work like both an analyst and a game designer, and has a proven track record as a product leader on a top performing casual mobile game(s). The Lead Product Manager will work closely with multiple disciplines, particularly game designers, to create a unique Disney experience that will excite our fans for the next 10+ years.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help establish and guide a compelling product vision through preproduction and production to set the game up for a meaningful soft launch
- Roll up your sleeves to write product requirements, feature specifications, conduct product teardowns, build economy models, and whatever else your team needs to stay on a very ambitious development schedule
- Define live operations systems, such as player communication, merchandising, and events, to support a diverse and active experience when the game goes live
- Determine business goals, from soft launch KPI targets to life of product forecasts
- Monitor casual game trends to incorporate modern player expectations into our product as seamlessly as possible
- Present product updates, market analysis, and insights to range of colleagues including the game team, cross functional partners, and executives
- Develop A/B test plans to optimize KPIs during soft launch and beyond
- Work with analytics team on a comprehensive BI taxonomy and analysis plan
- Use business acumen to collaborate across disciplines including business development, marketing, consumer intelligence, and publishing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Collaborative personality and work style
- 6+ years experience as a product manager in the game industry
- Worked on at least one successful mobile game from concept through live operations
- Goal-oriented mindset and the ability to set clear milestones and objectives
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strategic thinker, well-versed in conducting market research and applying sophisticated frameworks to decision makinG
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Passion for mobile games
- Track record of growing mobile games after launch
- Experience building out F2P economy and live operations frameworks
- Familiarity with casual and/or puzzle and/or collection games
- Knowledge of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars brands
- Experience writing SQL queries and distilling complex analysis into actionable insights
- Experience managing and mentoring teams
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred but not required
