Scope: 

 

Responsibility/Accountability:

 

  • Owns the product vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s long-term goals and market opportunities. Responsible for translating this vision into a coherent product roadmap and leading the product through its entire lifecycle.
  • Makes high-impact decisions regarding product direction, feature prioritization, and market positioning, significantly influencing the company's market share and competitive standing.
  • Leads cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and support, to deliver products that align with the business strategy, meet customer needs, and exceed market expectations.

 

Financial Impact:

 

  • Directly accountable for the product's profitability and revenue generation, often overseeing products or portfolios that significantly contribute to the organization’s financial health, potentially influencing millions or even billions in revenue depending on the company's size.
  • Develops and monitors key financial metrics, including ROI, cost-to-market, and profit margins, to ensure the product's financial success and make informed strategic decisions.
