We are seeking an experienced Product Management leader for our Card platform team. This role is critical to the success of BILL’s virtual card program, one of the top priorities for the business. The ideal candidate will have deep product knowledge in B2B card programs, demonstrated strong people skills, and a track record of driving technology and business transformation.
BILL’s Card platform team owns the foundation of our virtual card program. We seek to create innovative new customer experiences and capabilities that drive differentiation in the marketplace and sustainable growth. And we aspire to be at the forefront of transformation of our industry from legacy mainframe infrastructure, to near real-time, flexible and scalable architecture.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Partnerships, Operations, Analytics, Finance and our payment product teams, as well as our external bank and processing partners, driving a direct impact on key business goals. You will also own key initiatives across our platform to improve how we issue cards and manage value-added services over the card networks.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage the Card platform for our virtual card program at BILL. Lead and guide our external partners and our internal stakeholders in Engineering, Design and Operations to execute:
- Identify new product opportunities, prioritize across internal stakeholders and define a comprehensive roadmap informed by data, research, and business goals
- Deliver against the roadmap, defining product objectives, working with the engineering team and partners to drive requirements, and ultimately leading execution to launch key products and features
- Interact effectively with senior leaders presenting insights and strategies that drive our company’s objectives
- Drive the evolution of the platform to sustainably scale our programs and support new capabilities and experiences
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 5+ years Product Management experience in the payments space, with a demonstrated experience of managing and evolving a product portfolio. Experience in agile methodologies and its best practices
- Execution skills: proven track record of getting stuff done and shipping products that deliver substantial value with simple & intuitive customer experience
- Stakeholder management: experience in working at matrixed organizations with strong cross-functional collaboration; exceptional at developing and nurturing relationships with key internal & external stakeholders; tolerance for ambiguity and ability to drive clarity across cross-functional teams
- Commercial acumen: ability to simplify complexity and identify opportunities for commercial value creation; strong analytical skills, and fluency turning data into actionable business insights
- Clear communication, both verbal and written
The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
