Job Description: Maintains movement of product to and from the line

Job Synopsis: sets up the line for productions, moves product within area, hauling condemned, obtain ice, icing of product and ensure packers have always stacks of trays available. Provides tubs and lids for downgrade, cut wings, and palletizes full tubs. Transfer full tubs of one-legged birds form the hanging table to the Saw Operator stations., Take full tubs of parts from the Saw Operator stations to the appropriate lines., Move product stored in the cooler to the appropriate lines, or areas for processing, pick up component parts fallen from the line and takes them to the parts wash. disposes condemn product appropriately. Maintain cleanliness and general appearance of the cooler and walkway. Wash down floors with a squeegee or high-pressure water hose., Wash down equipment with a high-pressure water hose during breaks and at the end of shift., Help packers with necessary tasks by moving product between the two wing areas, Help prepare the line of the next shift by collecting and storing tools (I.e. Knives and scissors). Assist the lead in running the line as necessary, also provides relief for breaks as needed and fills in for absenteeism, as necessary. This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of fillet packing operation. Job Synopsis: Primary tasks include department set-up; insure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met in area. Assist supervisor with monitoring shoulder cuts, mechanical issues with packers, packaging and meat supply. Make decisions on staffing assignments based upon product flow, product mix and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, fill-in for absenteeism as necessary, wash down at breaks, and insure general housekeeping. Fill in for Supervisor in their absence. This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
