As a Lead Platform Architect, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering Platform Architecture team reporting to the Director Platform Engineering, you will support projects including technical aspects of Hilton’s API layer.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Understand, document, and describe complex technical subjects in understandable terms.
• Facilitate collaborative planning, prioritization, oversight, and support of Hilton’s digital experience API platform in collaboration with cross-product/multi-functional partners.
• Lead the delivery of platform capabilities across Hilton’s web/mobile streams and stress versatility as API platform interests are broad (forefront product awareness, enterprise infrastructure familiarity, data, and API proficiency).
• Lead several projects/tasks allowing Agile/iterative platform development: roadmaps, context/sequence diagrams, epics, stories, collaboration space documentation, and presentations.

• Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, Core Architecture, and Security to balance interests and needs.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Allow cross-stream digital experiences by defining API and platform capabilities that use Hilton’s evolving service/API-driven infrastructure and third-party services/integration.
