Lead Kitchen Associate

Description

You will serve on a team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all its audiences who visit the General Store. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by ensuring that the General Store customers have a delightful dining experience. We are looking for a team member who is driven to support our company’s Noble Purpose where we care about our guests and the impact we make on their lives.

Essential Job Functions

• Attend to customer needs and answer any questions they may have regarding store kitchen products.
• Receive customers and assist them with the selection of food products.
• Help manage kitchen inventory so that all ingredients are stocked for service.
• Help to train new kitchen staff members.
• Set regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verify the staff is maintaining sanitation levels.
• Assist with creating schedules as requested by Assistant GM for kitchen staff.
• Greet, interact, and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention. 
• Communicate information about product availability, nutritional information, and ingredients.
• Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting and cleaning.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Other duties as assigned.
