Job Description:
What You’ll Do
Responsible for the design and maintenance of product Fraud strategies within business rule engine to ensure accurate execution of Fraud strategies. Develop solutions, ensures operational readiness and implements strategies in the decision engine using various data sources and operational processing systems. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management
How You’ll Do It
Designs and maintains implementation architecture strategies.
Collaborates with policy teams to review and clarify requirements. Identifies relationships between existing strategies in the rules engine and identifies implementation solutions.
Participates in the complete project development lifecycle.
Designs, codes, and unit tests business rules.
Interprets and implements business requirements.
Partners with management to develop project plans and timelines for each stage of the project lifecycle.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration and Management, Statistics or related field
4+ years of experience in Software Development, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, Financial Services, Security, Digital, Fraud, or related experience.
In Lieu of education experience – 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, Financial Services, Security, Digital, Fraud, or related experience.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
Primarily remain in a stationary position.
No required movement about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.
Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
Ability to operate office equipment such as but not limited to computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
Ability to communicate verbally. Ability to communicate in written form.
Travel up to 10% of the time
Bonus Points If You Have
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration and Management, Statistics or related field
8+ years of experience in Software Development, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, Financial Services, Security, Digital, Fraud, or related experience
Rules authoring & Implementations in SAS Fraud Management
Python scripting
Snowflake SQL
Experience building and maintaining a rules execution framework in any decision engine
Implementation of strategies & models for Fraud Detection
Governance & gatekeeping before strategies are implemented
Monitoring, reporting & remediation of exceptions in strategy execution and
Providing expertise to Strategy Teams on strategy authoring and to Product teams on Product functionality
