We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

The Lead Governance Analyst provides lead-level expertise for enterprise data and AI governance capabilities. This role supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance practices related to data quality, data catalog and metadata management, stewardship, standards, controls, issue management, and responsible AI governance. The position partners with business, technology, data, analytics, risk, compliance, and AI stakeholders to embed consistent governance processes. The role helps translate enterprise governance strategy into practical frameworks, procedures, metrics, and adoption activities that support business objectives, regulatory readiness, risk reduction, and trusted decision-making. The Lead Governance Analyst coordinates cross-functional governance initiatives, supports operating model development, monitors governance performance, and promotes accountability for governance ownership across enterprise domains.

 

Key responsibilities include Support the development and execution of enterprise governance strategies, roadmaps, standards, and operating practices across the enterprise. Lead implementation of governance processes, controls, workflows, and procedures that promote consistent data and AI management practices across business domains. Develop and maintain scalable frameworks for data quality management, metadata standards, catalog adoption, governance intake, issue remediation, monitoring, and reporting. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define governance roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths, and adoption plans. Create and monitor governance performance measures, including catalog adoption, metadata completeness, data quality outcomes, issue remediation, control effectiveness, and governance process effectiveness. Provide governance guidance, training, communication, and change support to increase adoption, accountability, and maturity across enterprise domains.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

8-10+ years of relevant professional experience in a directly related field.

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise data governance principles, operating models, policies, standards, controls, and adoption practices.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting governance capabilities across data quality, metadata management, data catalog, stewardship, issue management, and technology risk practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement governance frameworks, procedures, workflows, metrics, reporting, and adoption plans in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of the governance cycle and how governance practices support reliability, transparency, regulatory readiness, operational risk reduction, and business value.
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional governance initiatives.
  • Ability to align governance priorities with enterprise objectives.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, influence without direct authority, and deliver results through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience preparing governance documentation, process materials, status updates, business requirements, and recommendations for management review.
  • Ability to define, monitor, and report governance performance measures and use results to recommend improvements.
  • Ability to promote governance adoption, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across enterprise domains.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
