We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Gateway Avionics Cybersecurity Engineer (SkillBridge Conversion) to join our team!

As a Lead Gateway Avionics Cybersecurity Engineer (SkillBridge Conversion) you will : 

• Lead a team of Cybersecurity Professionals in the Engineering Department
• Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors
• Provide coordinated support between engineering and other organizations/programs
• Perform assessment for completeness of design and implementation throughout the full software and hardware development lifecycle
• Support the development of CDR and readiness review products and participate in module system reviews
• Work with cybersecurity team members to support the gateway ground security plan
• Develop cybersecurity requirements for ground control and spacecraft systems
• Work with the spacecraft module vendors to establish cybersecurity plans and verify compliance
• Perform cybersecurity oversight and impact assessments
• Support cybersecurity incident investigation and resolution
• Ensure systems comply with scanning of spacecraft systems per government, NASA, and Johnson Space Center specific requirements
• Ensure findings in the security assessment report are addressed and closed through remediation or risk assessment
• Coordinate with external organizations to perform cybersecurity remediation
• Perform other duties as assigned or as required
