Lead Fund Lifecycle Manager

Partners Group is seeking a Lead Fund Lifecycle Manager to join our Product Management team in the US.  The Lead Fund Lifecycle Manager would work out of our Broomfield, CO or New York, NY office. The Product Management team serves as the nexus of a variety of activities throughout the lifecycle of investment programs: driving timely and seamless launches, monitoring and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction amongst clients and operational teams and taking the lead in the management of fund restructurings and winddowns. Our Americas Product Management team is based in our Denver headquarters and is responsible for a wide range of investment programs ranging from traditional limited partnerships to semi-liquid retail offerings and Separately Managed Accounts. 

You will be part of the Americas Product Management team with the following responsibilities:

• Takes full ownership of the lifecycle of assigned products
• Ensures timely and seamless launch of funds, restructurings and winddowns in close collaboration with sales, structuring, operational teams and external service providers
• Leads team-relevant projects and contributes to business unit-relevant projects
• Has a clear understanding of private markets, fund structures as well as processes, roles, systems and responsibilities across the firm
• Collaborates with and has exposure to team leaders across the firm to solve operational challenges
• Reviews output of team members and trains less experienced Product Managers, delivers targeted education sessions for the wider team
• Solves complex operational issues and delicate matters involving several teams, finding win-win solutions thanks to excellent negotiation skills
• Liaises with internal stakeholders and acts as partner for sales in finding solutions for clients while representing operational capabilities assertively

• Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or similar
• University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance, accounting, or economics
• Outstanding organizational skills and time management ability, including the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands while under pressure to meet ambitious deadlines
• Knowledge of the financial services industry, experience in private equity or another alternative asset class
• Experience in the design, implementation and operational set-up of complex and innovative fund structures, including Separately Managed Accounts (SMA)
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong desire to learn and succeed, problem solve and implement new ideas to improve processes and increase efficiencies
• Ability and desire to train, coach, and develop team members
• Effective and reliable team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others

• Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $133,000 – 188,000 (the offered amount will be based on location and the candidate's experience) and a performance-based bonus and equity are additional parts of the total compensation package.
