The Opportunity

This role is responsible for providing financial and budget analyses by gathering and evaluating financial data, performing trend analysis, forecasting investment conditions and communicating with key stakeholders to support and influence business and investment decision-making.

Primary responsibilities
• Support the completion of accurate financial reporting metrics by gathering information, performing data entry, verifying accuracy and collaborating with senior analysts and department managers as needed
• Facilitate effective decision-making in designated area of responsibility by analyzing financial information, forecasting business, industry and economic conditions and communicating implications to senior management
• Participate in the identification of information sources, testing of financial analysis models and gathering of reference information to ensure business growth and development
• Support senior analysts and managers in providing guidance to senior leadership by serving as a functional and technical expert and analyzing financial performance to align budget guidelines and strategies with business requirements
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Knowledge
• Applied knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of budget financial analysis and financial modeling
• Working knowledge of operational efficiency principles and best practices
• Applied knowledge of financial operations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 pounds.
