**Position Summary**

The Lead Director of Operations for Aetna Better Health of Illinois will oversee core strategic initiatives for the plan including management and execution of state programs/implementations, cost savings initiatives, state presentations and cross-functional strategic initiatives . Key responsibilities include strategic program management, tracking and reporting, executive report and presentation development, completing state deliverables, facilitation of large workgroups, and overall project management. This role involves developing executive reporting and PowerPoint presentations, as well as delivering presentations to state officials.

**Required Qualifications**

-Experience in Healthcare Insurance

- Proven experience in strategic initiative management and oversight

- Expertise in managing and vetting cost-saving initiatives

- Proficiency in vetting program partners and managing their performance

- Ability to manage and complete state deliverables efficiently

- Strong skills in developing executive reports and PowerPoint presentations

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

**Preferred Qualifications**

-Experience working within a Medicaid health plan

- General Medicaid experience

- Consulting experience in healthcare

**Education**

Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years minimum work experience in health insurance

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
