The Lead, Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing team performance to successfully execute on the day-to-day recruitment functions that drive outcomes to identify and attract top talent. The incumbent in this role participates and assists in the successful completion of sourcing and research for candidate engagement projects and initiatives that support Talent Acquisition and the company's vision, mission and overall philosophy. He/She will serve as a mentor, coach and go-to for a team of recruiting or sourcing professionals to aid in identifying candidates for often high-volume, highly technical, specialized and/or hard-to-fill roles within the organization. The Lead, Talent Acquisition, who is part of the Physician Recruitment team will own his/her own book of business/reqs and is responsible for recruitment of those reqs in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a wide range of team lead responsibilities including oversight of general sourcing/recruitment workflow which incorporates sourcing, interviewing, hiring, coaching, leading and developing employees, as well as, planning, assigning and directing work prioritization.
  • Physician Recruitment team Leads recruit physicians as assigned by the divisional recruitment leader.
  • Mentors and guides team members through sourcing/recruitment processes, manages client issue escalation and resolution and ensures overall process compliance.
  • Establishes and maintains regular communications with the team, such as 1:1 meetings and weekly team meetings.
  • Accountable for direct reports’ weekly and monthly metrics.
  • Supports team goal setting, drives employee development and team engagement and participates in employee quarterly and yearly performance review process.
  • Conducts team meetings with COEs and partners with business to contribute thoughts/ideas that build cross functional collaboration and execute sourcing/recruiting solutions. Follows-up with management team members to ensure continuity of progress on projects and initiatives.
  • Proxies as the divisional recruitment leader during team meetings and/or workforce planning meetings when he/she is unavailable.
  • Ensures team is meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA's) by managing productivity through PowerBI scorecards and appropriate metrics to drive efficiencies and scalability to meet desired outcomes.
  • Provides expertise on sourcing/recruiting technology systems and business processes (ex, Process flows, Phenom People, Workday, Interview Assessment Tools, Social Media).
  • Communicates with Talent Acquisition/Clinical Recruitment and COE stakeholders to understand workforce planning and solutions to meet the needs of hiring managers.
  • Develops, tests and tracks recruitment strategies to create an effective sourcing/recruiting plan to identify, attract and hire top talent.
  • Promotes our employer brand online and offline and assists with identifying and planning recruitment events.

  • Advanced-level business acuity
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
  • Knowledge of and ability to research industry trends and innovations related to Sourcing and Recruiting
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and digital networking
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • Solid writing, editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills to effectively assist with projects from inception to completion
  • Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on simultaneous projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
  • Ability to analyze information and use deductive reasoning to manage complex data
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, and work with multiple levels of the organization from senior management to first level associates
