Lead Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant. This position will be responsible for recognizing opportunities to improve the customer experience through the use of advanced Analytics experience. More specifically, it will support data exploration to evaluate and improve the customer experience using unstructured voice of customer data (e.g. speech and written communications), structured operational data (e.g. loan payment behaviors) and customer interaction data (e.g. web events).

In this role, you will:

• Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards

• Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data

• Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed

• Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews

• Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported

• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 5+ years of SQL experience – create SQL scripts. Working experience on SQL Server

Desired Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and development

• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analytics

• Python, PySpark and SQL

• Experience working with unstructured data highly preferred

• Develop robust data quality controls/processes to ensure data alignment, consistency and integrity for model development and implementation

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, to deliver against key business initiatives

• Take initiatives and drive each project to completion with minimal guidance while effectively managing multiple projects at a time

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $188,900.00
