About the role
Reports to: Senior Manager Facilities Ops & Projects
Location: In Office, Orange CT, Boston MA, New York, Portland, OR
The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $80,000 to $125,000.
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Lead Analyst will support financials for BAM Building Analytics.
- Including support of CAPEX reporting
- Support requests for new CAPEX AOs in SAP, create purchase requisitions (PR) / purchase orders (PO), process the invoices in SAP, support IBuy process, etc...
- He/she will work with Operations and become the primary contact with the vendors to support the administrative work required to complete PR, PO, invoices, setting up new vendors, etc...
- He/she will be responsible for supporting all department metrics ensuring metrics are completed by delivery dates.
- The Lead Analyst will support the BAM Budget for all groups within Building Asset Management: Operations, Projects, Building Analytics
- He/she will contribute to support the BAM budget monthly.
- The Lead Analyst will coordinate budget activities within the Building Asset Management Department, be responsible for collecting all the metrics, and populating the budget templates.
- The Lead Analyst will be the liaison with other departments.
- This includes engaging with other departments like, Procurement, Budget and Performance, Control, etc.
- The Lead Analyst will be a support for the Sr. Manager Facilities Ops & Projects with any administrative tasks required.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to the Sr. Manager Facilities Ops & Projects – Building Asset Management.
- Support the budgets for BAM – Building Analytics Area and if it is necessary propose actions to keep under control the budget.
- Collect budgetary data from team analysts and prepare budgets for the BAM - Building Analytics Area
- Oversee actuals and commitments
- Support budget allocations for Operations / Projects
- SAP for all Operating Companies
- Management of Invoices
- Create the Purchase requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)
- VIM processing
- Operations
- Ad-hoc responsibilities may include assisting OPEX requirements, including but not limited to; environmental, utility, employee services, quarterly SYGRIS reporting for utility usage (water, gas and heating fuel, electrical), etc..
- Vendor Support
- Communicate POs to Vendors
- Maintain Procurement tracker for all POs
- Reconcile actuals: monthly/quarterly/annual as required
- Validate variable expense reporting (billed vs unbilled) and payment schedule
- Management the administrative side of the BAM Budget, Actuals and Commitments
- Support, with the agreement of the BAM Building Analytics Manager, the BAM Annual Budget
- Support monthly the Actuals and commitment reporting
- Unmatched Goods Receipts, Open Commitments, etc..
- Support the Revisions of the budget to the BAM Budget structure, including Budget Transfer Requests (BTRs)
- Extract first conclusions for variance explanations
- Liaison with any other department like
- Procurement; lead, host weekly meetings and manage the tracking of department updates in the procurement tracker
- Budget and Performance; support OPEX and CAPEX variances
- Regulatory; rate case support as required
- Other departments as deemed necessary
- Support BAM Building Analytics Manager with Administrative tasks
- Other support
- Leads special projects as assigned
- Maintain financial information (NBV) to support CAPEX Director’s plan
- Assists and leads process improvements and efficiencies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Background & Experience required:
- Financial Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years relevant experience required.
- Previous experience leading projects or processes relevant to financial role
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in managing SAP.
