The company, today known as Notedome Limited, concentrate on supplying high-performance polyurethane cast elastomer systems for a wide variety of applications in numerous industries and can fine-tune urethane chemistry to meet the requirements of most markets.

- Starting salary of £16,000 per annum.
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30AM - 3:30PM.

What will I be doing as an Apprentice?
This apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to conduct experiments that contribute to quality control, research and development.You'll perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, laboratory tests and measurements, and write reports detailing the procedures carried out.
Key responsibilities:
- Test the quality of products to make sure that they meet standards and specifications.
- Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments.
- Prepare chemical solutions, lab size batches of current or new formulations.
- Record, compile, and interpret results of chemical and physical experiments, tests, and analyses for a variety of purposes.
- Order and maintaining stock and resource.

You may choose to pursue higher-level qualifications through one of our Degree Apprenticeships such as Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Bioscience or Applied Chemical Science. At Tiro we’re obsessed with changing lives through science and technology apprenticeships so we can’t wait to have you on board. Over 21 months, you’ll devote a minimum of 6 hours of your working week on ‘off the job’ training. This can include theory training (for example, virtual lessons & online learning), alongside practical training (for example shadowing, mentoring, & time spent writing assignments. Together this will count towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician apprenticeship. You’ll be trained by an expert tutor from Tiro as well as an experienced mentor at Notedome, who together, will make sure you develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits you’ll need to succeed in your career. Being an apprentice is hands-on, so you’ll get the chance to learn things you might otherwise not have experienced in a university or college environment. The best part? You’ll be earning a salary while you gain your qualifications, meaning no huge student loans to pay back at the end of the programme!Requirements
