Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day-to-day supervision and problem resolution within the lab.
• Serve as primary customer liaison for the laboratory.
• Assure team is following procedures.
• Assist with development and training of staff.
• Empower the team to take ownership of their repsonsbilities.
• Participate in recruiting new staff.
• Perform time card review and release.
• Perform billing review and release.
• Perform and/or delegate quoting.
• Perform project scheduling.
• Assist Sales with closing new projects.
• Assist with development of new business opportunities.
• Assist with laboratory audits.
• Lead scope expansion and new value proposition efforts on behalf of the lab/site
• As necessary, perform duties of project engineer.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree, BSEE preferred.
Experience with product safety certification and familiarity with electrical safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC, etc.) 
• Minimum of five years of relevant product safety work experience.
