Job Description

Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton, OK is seeking a full time labor positon.

Typical Functions

  • Clean assigned area of gallery and offices; includes windows, walls, glass, carpet, tile, and concrete, to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, and buffing of all floors.
  • Clean restrooms which consist of sweeping, mopping, disinfecting all fixtures, removing trash, and filling paper and soap dispensers.
  • Organize and clean storage rooms. Ensures supply stock is always available for cleaning and maintenance of the building.
  • Responsible for care of all landscaping; to include mowing, edging, trimming, and watering as needed.
  • Inspects exterior of building, grounds, park, exterior exhibits, and parking lot daily. All walls, windows, roof area, flatwork, sidewalks, grassed, planted, and paved area are cleaned and maintained daily.
  • Assists with minor maintenance and repairs includes monitoring and changing of light bulbs, changing filters, cleaning HVAC ducts, patching and painting of walls daily
  • This position does require a work schedule to include the weekend and extended hours during the summer and special events
  • In charge of winter precipitation preparations and removal of tree limbs, snow, and ice.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED
