Labor and Delivery RN | Full-Time | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends

• Location: Richmond, VA
• Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
• Weekend Differential: $7 per hour
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-Case Basis

About the Role

We are hiring a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a 12-suite L&D unit. This full-time night shift position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and a sign-on bonus. Candidates from any acute care unit are welcome to apply, as cross-training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to delivering mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with OBGYNs, anesthesiologists, and lactation consultants
• Document patient care using electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
• Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active RN license in Virginia or compact/multi-state RN license
• 1+ year of acute care nursing experience required
• 1+ year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred (Open to cross-training)
• BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross required)
• NRP Certification preferred
